Sales Executive in AlfaPeople 

AlfaPeople is looking for an energetic, career minded leader with experience in creating and managing a full business development team, to assist with expansion goals. Be prepared to lead by example, in all aspects of sales from negotiations, one-on-one presentations, client acquisition as well as retention. We expect that you are a strong presenter and good at relationship building. The ability to communicate with clients from C-level to all involved parties is important to our success.

As the Sales Executive, you will lead the Sales process. You will be responsible for the lead generation and the qualification of opportunities. Qualification is very important to AlfaPeople, so we can focus our efforts on Clients that are the right fit for our offerings. Through the sales phase, you will work closely together with the Pre-Sales resources to present the best solution for the Customer.

AlfaPeople is a sales driven organization. For the right opportunity, we leverage all resources that can help to win the deals. We want to show the Customers that we are a team and that we are the right choice for the retailers. You continue to have account control, until the Customer is live and satisfied.

Microsoft is a key player in our business, so we expect that you have a network in Microsoft or are used to work with other large Software vendors.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years ERP / CRM experience with Tier 1/2 software (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • 5+ years of sales, business development and program management experience in the Retail industry
  • Proven sales success over the last 5 years
  • Understand selling value over price
  • Outstanding presentation skills and client presence
  • Significant experience selling to companies with revenue from $100MM to $2 Billion plus
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the executive team

  • Manage complex contract negotiations.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Excellent people skills

  • Out of the box thinker
  • Travel: 60-80%

We offer a strong compensation package including solid base salary, comprehensive benefits plan and excellent commission/bonus earnings.

Location: North East or California is preferred, but for the right person, location is less important.
