Microsoft Brings Retailers a Complete End-to-End Solution With Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail R2

Microsoft have launched Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail R2. This solution, the next iteration of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail, offers midsize and enterprise specialty retailers point-of-sale, store management, supply chain, merchandising and financials capabilities to deliver business productivity, enterprise agility and customer service in a single, integrated end-to-end retail solution. It provides visibility from point-of-sale devices to the supply chain and the business insight needed to enable a real-time response to customer demand and build customer loyalty.

Connector for Microsoft Dynamics

Integration between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and another two global Dynamics ERP products has arrived with the release of Feature Pack 4 of the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics!

Customers of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics NAV now have access to the same simple, reliable and extendable integration with our CRM product that we shipped for GP earlier this year (Formerly known as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Adapter). Out-of-the-Box entity mappings provide immediate value by integrating the key data in both systems. That basic integration can be extended by adding new maps, or leveraging the SDK to create custom integrations.

Microsoft Dynamics AX Positioned as a Leader in Magic Quadrant for ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Companies

Gartner Inc. has appointed Microsoft Dynamics AX as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for ERP for Product-Centric Midmarket Companies* 2010 in a research report published by Gartner Inc. In the same report, which this year evaluated global enterprise resource planning (ERP) products specifically tailored for companies with 100 to 999 employees, and with annual revenue between $50 million and $1 billion, Microsoft Dynamics NAV is recognized as a Niche Player.

AlfaPeople takes over Columbus IT operations

July 1st 2010 marks a truly exciting milestone for our company as AlfaPeople – Europes largest reseller of Microsoft CRM – has taken over all Columbus IT interests in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Germany and Switzerland.

CEO and main shareholder of the AlfaPeople Group is Michael Gaardboe who was the founder and former CEO for Columbus IT until December 2008. The local management of all new and existing AlfaPeople countries will continue without any change.

International growth in AlfaPeople

One of the IT industry's most experienced executives Claus E. Hansen, will from August 8 2011 be COO of AlfaPeople. Claus E. Hansen will also be partner and shareholder in the fast growing IT company. The goal is to double the current company size.
