xRM to large Danish trade union
About the Trade Union
The trade union was founded in 1900 and is today the second largest trade union in Denmark with more than 420,000 members in more than 130,000 businesses. The union is concerned mainly with ensuring equal pay for men and women and provide personal advice to their members on issues such as wages, employment and training.
Situation
The trade union used a nearly 10 year old Main frame to handle the agreements between members and employers. The union earlier had tried to implement a new IT system, but had to give up. In 2008, the union tried again. This time with a far more powerful and integrated platform, not least flexible, proven technology; Microsoft Dynamics xRM solution.
The solution
The solution was made as a "one-on-one" conversion of the functionality from the old system, but with the new platform and its productive capabilities in mind. The old database model and business processes were reviewed optimized and implemented feature-by-feature. Today, more than 900 users are online across 10 departments in Denmark.

AlfaPeople has also been the source of understanding, characterization and optimization of the trade unions work routines and sparring partner for 4 more systems delivered to the union on the CRM/xRM platform.
